Processing Skills and Introduction
We will spend the first part of the trimester reviewing science processing skills such as observing, classifying, comparing, inferring, and communicating, among others. In addition, we will learn the skill of dimensional analysis, the process of converting units. This skill will be needed all throughout the year. Students will have the opportunity to create and conduct experiments, record, organize, and analyze data as they write one or two formal lab reports.

Here's what we're doing. . .
We are reviewing the Scientific Method and discussing the strengths & weaknesses of experimental procedures. What makes a good experiment? What do the data say? We are also practicing our metric measurement precision and learning how to convert units with dimensional analysis. Foil Boats
